Have Your Say

This new venture for the Collie Association, which forms part of our expanded Health Issues page, allows all Rough Collie breeders and exhibitors, whether Collie Association members or not, to air their opinion on matters of current concern.

In the first of what could become a series of informal surveys we invite you to contribute to the current discussion on Rough Collie Litter Size, Fertility and Whelp Viability.

See Litter Size for further details and to download our survey form.

Drugs That Can Kill

It is now known that certain drugs can be fatal to members of the Wider Collie Family.

Your Health Co-Ordinator has now compiled a three page document relating the history of this discovery, in addition to listing the known, suspected, or potentially harmful active ingredients used in a variety of medications from over-the-counter parasitic elimination preparations to strong anti-cancer drugs.

This document is available for download in PDF format from our Health Issues page, and owners are encouraged to read it carefully, whilst breeders are urged to include a copy with their puppy packs given to new puppy owners.
Remember - it could save the life of YOUR Collie.
