Dear Collie Breeders,

During casual conversations it has become apparent that quite a few breeders feel that litter size in our breed is reducing. Many ideas have been raised that might be the cause of this and several breeders are gathering information that may produce some answers.

With this in mind a survey form, available below, has been prepared. Some of the questions relate to ideas already put forward as possible contributing factors to loss of litter size. By collating information from as many breeders as possible, a picture might appear that could help us to find some answers.

This survey is open to all Rough Collie Breeders and should therefore not be seen as being limited to CA members only – this is to enable the best response and returns.

We can assure you that no individual information will be published as it will be numbers relating to the different answers that should hopefully form a picture. We would however prefer you to supply your name and contact details as we may want to get back to you in the future in order to develop the information you have submitted.
